Due to the fact that we are slowing down and heading towards retirement, hence doing less litters, we are now taking deposits in advance of litters being announced. This ensures that you don’t miss out on a Bella-Lealta puppy.

 

We have found that operating via the old system, of only taking deposits once we announced a pregnancy, was resulting in a lot families missing out.   So due to so many families insisting on placing a deposit prior to an announcement,  we are now accepting applications and deposits in advance to alleviate families from missing out on securing one of our most sort after Bella-Lealta pups, as there has not been enough places left in the litter to make a pregnancy announcement!!

 

You will still be asked to fill in an adoption application form.   It is quite detailed, this is how we can learn a bit about you, and you can let us know what you are looking for in a pup, such as coat colour and type, keeping in mind though, that THE most important attribute in your pup is TEMPERAMENT!

 

We know that we have TWO of our Mini Groodle girls in pup, this means we will have pups ready to go home BEGINNING OF MAY 2024. If this time frame fits your timeline, then please give us a call for a discussion on how we operate and an application form. 

 
As always, do your research with your breeders, there are lots of ‘new breeders’ out there at the moment that are happy to tell you they can sell you a ‘multigenerational puppy’. As well as all the usual questions of genetic testing, temperament of the parents etc, there two questions you HAVE to ask:

1. How long have you been breeding?

2. What generation are the puppies they are offering you?

 

The answers you want to hear are:

1. At least 10+ years

2. The puppies are at least 4, 5 or 6 generation. 

 

Unless you get these answers to the questions above, it is impossible for them to be offering GENUINE Mini Groodle pups, as they haven’t been breeding long enough to have bred down through the generations to produce a GENUINE Mini Groodle and the offered puppy has the potential to become a 25kg or maybe more ‘mini groodle’!
